If there’s ever a place to go in Austin for a good traditional Argentine meal, Buenos Aires Café on E 6th Street is it! We’re, of course, a little biased because this small, vibrant restaurant has been a dedicated supporter of Project Schoolhouse for years, providing delicious food to fundraising efforts large and small. Tab Barker, Project Schoolhouse’s own Executive Director, describes their Lomito Beef Sandwich as the next best thing to dining in Argentina.
This café is Austin-grown Argentine cuisine, and there’s really nothing else like it in central Texas. Their meals are made with love and care, the same love and care they put back into both the local Austin community and our international efforts.
Buenos Aires Café is the generous host of a handful of Project Schoolhouse’s Crash Course events in the Austin area. Their Milonga Room is a great venue for an intimate evening, with a real Speakeasy feel. But their Chimichurri sauce alone will want you coming back for more.
From everyone at Project Schoolhouse, thank you Buenos Aires Café for supporting our mission and the communities we serve in Nicaragua!
